Direct Digital Synthesizer

Litton Laser Systems 12259 direct digital synthesizer. A Meret Optical ADS-432-430 programmable direct digital synthesizer feeds a 10 dB amplifier to a Mini-Circuits ZFDC-10-1 directional coupler to produce 1 - 400 MHz output at +13 dBM.

Includes Acopian power supplies in a rack-mount cabinet. Operates on 120 vac. "BNC" outputs. Programming input via 50 pin Centronics female on rear panel. Includes synthesizer instructions.

Litton Laser Systems 1675 / 1665 LVS modulator driver. Consists of Vectron CO-254F16 40 MHz crystal oscillator, followed by a CA2842H 1-1/2 watt amplifier driving a IFI M1675 / 1665 driver. Driver consists of four BLY93C 25 watt transistors in parallel.

Q-Source 300Kw amplifier used for igniting plasma in laser chambers. Q-Source was using the 28-30Mhz frequency in their lasers, this amplifier is based on the Eimac 3CPX5000A7 which is rated up to 100Mhz. This amplifier also uses the more modern Glassman MK10P07.5 Power Supply as its source. Built by Peter Chenousky of Q-Source, includes schematics, parts list, and power supply manual. 19" rack mountable chassis. To achieve 300Kw output, this unit requires a 100Kw input. Q-Source was using their QS8002101 an input to this unit. 19"W x 24"D x 14"H (8U).

Q-Source was using the 28-30Mhz frequency in their lasers, this amplifier is based on the Eimac 3CPX1500A7 which is rated up to 250Mhz. This amplifier also uses the more modern Glassman MJ10P1500-11 Power Supply as its source. Built by Peter Chenousky of Q-Source, includes schematics, parts list, and power supply manual. 19" rack mountable chassis. To achieve 100Kw output, this unit requires a 15Kw input. Schematics are also included to use a 3CPX800A7 and Glassman MJ10P1500-11 for a 1.5Kw to 15Kw output. 19"W x 24"D x 14"H (8U).
